Close your eyes, and try to imagine things that make you feel relaxed, such as sunbathing or having a hot shower. As you imagine these scenarios, you will feel your stress slowly fall away from you. Simply closing your eyes and imagining you are in a calm place should be effective in reducing stress, even if you only do it for a few seconds.
